Print out this How to Homeschool List and return right away to Route 66. Use this list to take notes as you travel on Route 66.

1. Review the laws of your state and write the steps you need to take.




2. Take some time researching the various teaching methods . Write down the methods that appeal to you.




3. Review the learning styles and decide if the theories are something you want to apply to your teaching. If so, take an inventory of your child's learning style. Simply print out each of the three styles kinesthetic, auditory, and visual. and make notes on characteristics that apply to your child or children.




4. Take an inventory of your child's strengths.




5. Take an inventory of your learning environment.




6. Decide if you want to incorporate religion into the curriculum, and, if so, write down ideas of how you want to include religion.




7. Review the homeschool curriculum questions and look at the various curriculum options. You may wish to go back to the teaching methods and review the curriculum there.




8. If you wish, look for online support groups.
