Homeschool Science Report

This is a homeschool science report paper I made when I first started teaching my son at home. I printed the paper out and my son chose a topic from the paper for his report. This list can be modified to fit your academic program, but it gives you an idea of how to present report ideas to your child in your academic program.

Use this following list to choose a science topic to research:

I. This is a long-term project. The project term should be at least three weeks in length. This time includes fieldwork, discussions with experts, interviews, research, experimenting, reading, writing, drawing, and computing.

II. The project will include the following:

1. A Question (Example: What animals live in the Rainforest?)

2. Written research from three different sources: computer, book, person

3. A product displaying what was learned

4. Note cards for oral report

5. An oral report to two different people

6. A paragraph written description of what took place during the project question, the result, and an evaluation of the process.
